Jan
I am Jan, the proud owner Headmasters Barber Shop. I grew up in South Lyon and graduated from South Lyon High School, a hometown girl. I started working here in 1986 and then purchased the shop in July 2021. I love being outdoors in my off hours, spending time with my husband and my 2 dogs. I have so many friends here in South Lyon and l love seeing them come into the shop.

I am Kathleen, I am a team member of Headmasters Barber Shop since 2001. A member of Newcomers of Livingston County and my hobby is Sweet Adeline’s International. What I love about working in South Lyon is the friendly people.

I am Kim, I have been a barber since 1983 where my first job was in the U.P. in Houghton. I met the love of my life and moved down state where I started working at Headmasters Barber Shop. After a 14 year break from raising my greatest job, my son, I came back to Headmasters in 2003. I truly love my job and the people I work with.
It has been great journey, I have met a lot of great people that have come through our doors and enjoy listening to their stories.

I am Deana, I attended Flint Institute of Barbering and obtained my first job at Headmasters Barber Shop in 1988. I am a wife, mother of two adult sons, and proud Grand Mother. I like spending time with my family, playing golf, and working in my garden every chance I can.
I enjoy my job and the work I do to make people look their best. I enjoy the conversations that I have with my customers and also like meeting our new ones.
OUR STORY
Headmasters Barber Shop was established in 1982 by a hometown owner.
We’ve been a constant supporter of our community and we love the fact that we’ve been cutting generations of families in our South Lyon community, come in see why. We’re located in Kings Plaza, next to Martins Hardware.
We have a great team with an average cutting time of over 20 years, and there is no substitute for experience. We are the place to go to get a professional cut, with the hometown feel.
We specialize in men’s and boy’s cuts, on a walk-in basis only, no appointments, just come on in. Sunday and Monday we are closed.
